Meet Dr. Sarah Schobben
PT, DPT
About Me
I am an orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapist committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of well-being! I believe that as a healthcare provider, we not only have to address the physical injuries, but also consider the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of recovery to achieve true wellness and growth.
My sessions are tailored to each individual and may include advanced manual therapy, targeted exercise, nervous system regulation, breath work, biomechanical training, mat Pilates, and patient education. I believe that the more you understand your body, the more empowered you are in your healing. My goal is for every session to leave you feeling supported, hopeful, and well-equipped to thrive in everyday life.
My Background
While attending the University of Florida, I developed a passion for performing arts medicine after enduring multiple injuries as a collegiate level dancer. I experienced first hand the benefits of PT and specifically wanted to bring my dance knowledge to my physical therapy practice. After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Touro College, I was selected for a clinical affiliation with the Boston Ballet and later joined NeuroTour, the leading physical therapy provider for Broadway. I spent three unforgettable years touring North America as the lead physical therapist for productions such as HAMILTON and Riverdance, with additional coverage for The Lion King, School of Rock, and Hadestown.
My work with performers and vocalists first sparked my interest in pelvic floor and women’s health physical therapy. I saw that many of my female athletes and performing arts clients were navigating a range of physical and life changes such as hormone fluctuations and chronic stress to pregnancy, infertility, autoimmune conditions, and orthopedic injuries. Pelvic health is essential to how our bodies move, perform, and feel — and the pelvic floor plays a foundational role. Through ongoing education and years of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a comprehensive, personalized approach to caring for all individuals with pelvic health needs.
Whatever challenges you’re facing, my mission is to meet you where you are with empathy, expertise, and a personalized plan to help you feel strong, informed, and fully supported throughout your healing journey.
