SSW is focused on Individualized and comprehensive care. It is a nurturing environment that allows one-on-one, hour long sessions to address every concern, create a comprehensive plan, and evaluate the root cause of dysfunction in the body.

How long are sessions?

• All sessions are 60 minutes to allow comprehensive one-on-one care.

• If additional time is needed (due to patient complexity) this can be arranged and scheduled in 30 minute increments. 

What should I wear to a session?

• Comfortable, athletic clothing is always best.

• I will have gowns/sheets for draping to ensure patient comfort.

What can I expect during a pelvic floor physical therapy appointment?

• During your first session I will perform a comprehensive evaluation. This includes a thorough medical history, as well as a full-body orthopedic, postural, and/or pelvic floor assessment.  

• For my Pelvic health clients: Full assessment of the pelvic floor muscles may require internal digital palpation. Your comfort is always paramount and your bodily autonomy will ALWAYS be respected. You can choose to decline the internal assessment at any point in time. This is usually not performed at the first session unless previously discussed during our initial consultation.

Do you accept insurance?

• I am out-of-network with all insurance providers. I am able to provide a superbill of services that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It is the responsibility of the patient to understand their out-of-network insurance benefits as every plan is different.

What is your cancellation policy?

• I have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Cancellation after 24 hours will result in a full charge for the session.

Do I need a physician referral?

• No! You do not need a referral from your doctor to come see me. Just reach out for a free consult and I will get you scheduled.

Where are you located:

• I offer in-person sessions at a centrally located clinic in Manhattan.

Can you offer virtual consultation?

• Absolutely. I find this to be a great option for my busy clients who cannot make it to the office consistently due to their schedules/travel.

• Also a great option for my new mothers who would like to begin post-partum care early.

• These sessions vary from 30 to 60 minutes.
